All dogs are spayed/neutered, have current shots, are negative for heartworms and on preventative. Puppies, under the age of 6 months, have been started on heartworm preventative.

Adoption Donation - $175 for all dogs

"Sadie" - after living in a cage making puppies for 8 years, Happy Tails rescued this little girl from a mill and changed her destiny. She is still shy, but loves people, and gets along great with other dogs. She is working on house breaking, but the family must understand and appreciate the special needs of puppy mill dogs. She would do best in a home with constant attention, someone who wants a "couch buddy" and needs someone to care for. She is heartworm negative and on preventatives, spayed, and current on all vaccinations.	"Red Rider" - 2 year old Long-Haired Miniature Red Dapple male. Rescued from an irresponsible breeder, Rider and his family are now available for adoption into their forever home that understands and appreciates Dachshunds, their personalities and temperaments. Rider is a sweet, happy, and active boy. He does not like cats. He is fine with Rosie, but would probably do best as an only dog. He is kennel trained now, but has been an outside dog so still needs work on housetraining. The right family will be patient with him and appreciate his spunk. He is heartworm negative, now current with vaccinations, neutered, micro chipped, and on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
"Rosie" - 3 year old Smooth Haired Miniature Red Dapple female. Rosie is a very sweet little girl, but does not like cats. She is small, crate trained, but still needs patience with housebreaking. Rosie would love to cuddle with you on the couch. She is spayed, micro chipped, heartworm negative, on preventatives, and current with her vaccinations.	"Dot" - Little Dot came from a breeder. She is 6 1/2 yrs old and only weighs 4 1/2 lbs and is a doll. Not nippy, very sweet, loves her soft fluffy bed and just wants to be held all the time. Loves to snuggle and be close. She is still trying to figure out life outside the cage but is adjusting nicely. Doing absolutely great with crate training but is not housebroken. Needs a family with understanding and patience. Foster family says our little Dot is a darling. Shots, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative, wormed and dental.
"Dandy Dan" - this great little male 2 yr. old Toy Poodle weighs in at only 3 1/2 lbs and is a sweet, loving boy! Taken from a breeder. He had terrible mats so we had to shave him down. Dandy Dan is enjoying being a family companion in a loving foster home! He is great with everyone - people, dogs, cats - and doing well with crate training. What a face! This little guy deserves an understanding, loving home that understands the patience a former mill dog needs. He is a playful and cute tiny boy! Shots, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative, wormed and dental.	"Lady" - Just turned 4 yrs old in January. Only weighs 9 lbs. Taken from a breeder. She had terrible mats so we had to shave her down. Sweet female Miniature Poodle. Lady is a sweetheart and wants to be with her person - loves to be cuddled and held. After years in a cage, she is enjoying being a family companion in her foster home. Lady is great with other dogs and cats and would do best with a family that has time to spend with her and understands the patience needed for mill dogs. She is doing fine with crate training and runs out the door to do her business, but is NOT housebroken. She wants to please and needs TLC. Shots, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative, wormed and dental.
"Sweetie" - Sweetie just turned 5 in January and was taken from a breeder. This little female toy Schnauzer had terrible teeth issues and the vet had to extract 28 teeth. Besides the ones she had already lost, Sweetie has 12 good teeth left. She hasn't had any issues eating and is putting on some much needed weight. She is a darling dog, very inquisitive, loves to be held and is learning the good life outside a cage. Her new family will need to be patient as she settles in and understand all that she has been through. Wonderful girl with loads of potential. She is very small weighing in at 5 1/2 lbs. Doing great with crate training but is not housebroken. Shots, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative, wormed and dental.	"Piper" - Terrier mix, this 4-5 month old little female is just waiting for the right forever family after being tossed around from family to family for awhile. Her foster family says she's doing great with all the typical puppy behaviors. She is doing well with crate training and working on house breaking, gets along great with the other dogs and family members in the home. She is supposed to be a Maltese/Wire-Haired terrier mix, but most resembles the terrier side. She is playful, happy, and current on vaccines, has been spayed, micro chipped, heart-worm negative and on all preventatives. She would be a great companion for the right family.
"Paris" - this is a very sweet girl, born 1/23/08. She is such a small girl, weighing in at only 4 3/4 lbs. She is fine with dogs, cats, and, due to her size, would be fine with older children. Babe is kennel trained, has not been housetrained – but we're working on it! She is a wonderful little girl for the family that appreciates Pomeranians. She is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, spayed, micro chipped, and on preventatives.	"Sheila" - this beautiful little Pom mix weighs only around 5 pounds. She was born 7/23/05 and is a sweetheart. She is great with everyone – dogs, cats, children – but due to her small size needs to be in a home with no small children. Kennel trained, and working on house training, this special girl is now spayed, current on vaccinations, micro chipped, and on preventatives.
